We started our work in audiobooks as Literalsystems.org in late 2003 and in 2011 we changed names to verkaro.org. Our production is located in beautiful Santa Fe New Mexico and we work with local talent only. We are paid only once for our work and the resulting audiobook is released free to the public.

If we had a dime for every downloaded audiobook we've created we'd have a budget of over two-hundred thousand dollars a year. But we don't charge a dime.

Our work benefits the blind community, schools and really anyone who enjoys a well produced audiobook for free.
